Andrew Olijarczyk
Mechanical engineer. Six years in the field, now designing the systems I used to install.
B.S. in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, backed by six years of hands-on HVAC installation, service, and diagnosis. I design in CAD, analyze in Python and MATLAB, and check the answer against how hardware actually behaves.
CAPABILITIES
What I bring
01 · DESIGN
CAD & part design
Parts, assemblies, and drawings in Siemens NX, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and Revit — plus Python scripting against the Fusion 360 API for parametric parts.
02 · ANALYSIS
Thermal & controls
Heat-transfer models in Python, control design and tuning in MATLAB/Simulink, and aero-structural work in Simcenter and FlightStream.
03 · FIELD
Hands-on diagnosis
Six years installing and troubleshooting residential and commercial HVAC. Fluent in blueprints, wiring diagrams, and code-compliant electrical work.
SELECTED WORK
Featured projects
AO-101 · AERO
UAV capstone design
Led design and analysis of a fixed-wing UAV — airframe in Siemens NX, structures in Simcenter, aero in FlightStream.
AO-104 · UAV / IN PROGRESS
Sub-250 g FPV quadcopter
Scratch build: H743 flight controller on ArduPilot, ELRS control link, analog video, and a hand-built 2S Li-ion pack.
AO-106 · ELECTRICAL
Residential 240 V circuit
Dedicated 240 V hot-tub circuit with GFCI protection and code-compliant underground wiring, completed under budget.
